Many around us are visiting temples after a crisis. They are searching for God, they don't know where else to turn. Pray for their search. He isn't far from us. Some of us have lost jobs which provided a living, a sense of security, and even a type of identity. Their loss often brings sadness and fear as well as financial challenges. Pray for their transition in the workplace to ultimately be a blessing for them and their families. Many have lost their health and are dealing with weaker and often painful conditions. They grieve the loss of their stronger health and are trying to cope with present conditions and their uncertain future. Pray for their comfort and reinvestment in life as it is, instead of what it was. Many have sent their children off to college and the empty bedroom is a challenge to accept. Pray for these empty nesters to find comfort and peace. Many have lost loved ones creating a loss which comes to their mind every worship service as they sit without them. Pray for their comfort and strength as they continue to serve and worship God. The list could go on, and so should the prayers.
