चिलम थी शोभा हाथों की, बंसी जैसे मोहन की,

मन को आस पुरी करो, भवसागर से पार करो!
भक्त भीमाजी था बीमार, कर बैठा था सौ उपचार,
धन्य साई की पवित्र उदी, मिटा गई उसकी शय व्याधि!
दिखलाया तुने विथल रूप, काकाजी को स्वयं स्वरूप,
दामु को संतान दिया, मन उसका संतुशत किया!
कृपाधिनी अब कृपा करो, दीन्दयालू दया करो,
तन मन धन अर्पण तुमको, दे दो सदगति प्रभु मुझको!
मेधा तुमको न जाना था, मुस्लिम तुमको माना था,
स्वयं तुम बन के शिवशंकर, बना दिया उसका किंकर!
रोशनाई की चिरागों में, तेल के बदले पानी से,
जिसने देखा आंखों हाल, हाल हुआ उसका बेहाल!
चाँद भाई था उलझन में, घोडे के कारण मन में,
साई ने की ऐसी कृपा , घोडा फिर से वह पा सका!
श्रद्धा सबुरी मन में रखों, साई साई नाम रटो ,
पुरी होगी मन की आस, कर लो साई का नित ध्यान !
जान का खतरा तत्याँ का , दान दिया अपनी आयु का,
ऋण बायजा का चुका दिया, तुमने साई कमाल किया!
पशुपक्षी पर तेरी लगन, प्यार में तुम थे उनके मगन,
सब पर तेरी रहम नज़र , लेते सब की ख़ुद ही ख़बर!
शरण में तेरे जो आया , तुमने उसको अपनाया,
दिए है तुमने ग्यारह वचन, भक्तो के प्रति लेकर आन!
कण-कण में तुम हो भगवान, तेरी लीला शक्ति महान,
कैसे करूँ तेरे गुणगान , बुद्धिहीन मैं हूँ नादान!

Shirdi Saibaba took Mahasamadhi (left his mortal coil) on the Vijayadasami or Dasara day in 1918. The Punyathithi is observed on the 10th day or dasami day during the Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month.Only his physical body has vanished. His presence is felt by thousands of devotees- as BABA assured while he had the gross form. His teachings continue to guide and inspire millions of people daily!! BABA ,unlike ordinary beings, was not born to a mother. His birth year is calculted to be approx 1838 AD. He lived in Shirdi for an unbroken period of 60 years.
His beautiful body is buried in the BUTI WADA, more populary known as the "Samadhi Mandir", Shirdi.

When we think of praying for each other the first thing we can see is that there are people around us who are dealing with major areas of life. Many around us are visiting temples after a crisis. They are searching for God, they don't know where else to turn. Pray for their search. He isn't far from us.
Some of us have lost jobs which provided a living, a sense of security, and even a type of identity. Their loss often brings sadness and fear as well as financial challenges. Pray for their transition in the workplace to ultimately be a blessing for them and their families.
Many have lost their health and are dealing with weaker and often painful conditions. They grieve the loss of their stronger health and are trying to cope with present conditions and their uncertain future. Pray for their comfort and reinvestment in life as it is, instead of what it was.
Many have sent their children off to college and the empty bedroom is a challenge to accept. Pray for these empty nesters to find comfort and peace.
Many have lost loved ones creating a loss which comes to their mind every worship service as they sit without them. Pray for their comfort and strength as they continue to serve and worship God.
The list could go on, and so should the prayers. Let's live with open eyes to see others needs and go with open hands and hearts to touch their lives. Let's close our eyes and pray to BABA who knows all and can help all!

Any devotee going to Shirdi will first have darshan in Samadhi Mandir and then after devotees' step automatically proceeds to Dwarkamai and Chavadi. These two places give us feeling of Sai Baba's presence even today.
Actually, Chavadi means a place for discussion to give justice, but this Chavadi of Shirdi became a place of residence of God Incarnation - Sai Baba. Late Shri Nimbalkar has thrown some light on the reason why Baba started to sleep in Dwarkamai and Chavadi on every alternate day in his explainatory book of Shri Saitcharitra originally written by Hemadpant (Govindrao Dabholkar) in Marathi Language.
"Once due to heavy rain Dwarkamai was flooded with water and there was no dry space for Baba to sleep. So devotees took Baba to Chavadi which is situated nearby and Baba was taken back to Dwarkamai. Since then Baba started sleeping in Dwarkamai and Chavadi every alternate day."

This is one of the oldest Sai mandirs in Jabalpur, populary known as "Gate no 4, Snehnagar wale baba", Jabalpur (MP)
Its built quite on Shirdi ThemeSamadhi Mandir with Babaji sitting on a high platform, about 4 feet, with a smaller baba statue on to the right and a statue of a (local) devotee.
The special thing about the main baba statue is that devotees that baba wears dhoti here!Thats right.
The story behind is that once baba appeared in the dream of the then(sometime in the past) priest and asked him "Won't you make me a dhoti?"
The amazing fact is that baba's left leg is not stuck to the 'aasan' he's sitting on, so the dhoti can be actually passed around through the leg, as is required.
Isn't this lovely devotees?! The temple was built by Konark Maharaj whose samdhi is also there in the Temple
